About Bandit Kennels
My babies come from all over the US. I took great pains to find the best in temperament, conformation, and beautiful coloring. My main stud Reggie comes from Massachusetts and was an awesome find. His pups have all been great in temperament, with woolly baby soft coats. Past owners have said that his babies literally stop traffic in downtown Breck. My Red momma Willie comes from Virginia and I literally scoured the US looking for her. She has stunning looks, along with intelligence and a sweet heart temperament. Her daughter Grizzy has all her mamma's qualities with a dazzling black and white coat and full mask.
This is not a kennel that started without planning. A great deal of thought went into the pups I have had and the ones which I will have in the future. Talk to any of the people that are parents of one of my babies and they'll tell you the same thing... I love every one of my dogs.
I live on 40 acres and my dogs run and play in a Malamute paradise. Every dog is given free space to run every day for as long as they like before they get tired... which can take awhile. I'm not a big operation. I strive for quality and not so much quantity. You will pay top price for one of my dogs, but that's because it takes allot of money to give them the right environment in which to have great babies that will give you a lifetime of joy. Come and visit any time if you'd like to see some of the happiest Malamutes anywhere.
At Bandit Kennels I treat my dogs like family. They certainly live in their element here in Jefferson, Colorado. They get fed top quality dog food, get awesome veterinary care, have plenty of exercise and are socialized with each other.
Located on 40 acres surrounded by national forest, they have lots of room to run and play. My dogs do not stay in their kennels for any long periods of time. They are free to romp about, so they are happy and healthy. They get along with my mini schnauzer "Shasta", which the Beware of Dog sign is for, and with my two horses.
I take allot of pride in my pooches, not only are they beautiful, but healthy, and have awesome temperaments! I love this breed of dog. They won't eat your friends but certainly intimidate strangers by their shear size and low deep barks.
I do not breed on their first couple heats; I wait until they are full grown, both mentally and physically, and are ready to have pups of their own. I do not breed every heat cycle either. I care for my dogs and DO NOT treat them as puppy factories.
You can be assured your getting a top quality malamute from Bandit Kennels! I will deliver to the Denver Metro area, you may pick up your puppy, or if you live further away, I can arrange shipping via an airline.
*** Before you consider purchasing a malamute for a "pet," I urge you to do your homework on the breed. They are very independent, hard headed, and strong willed. In addition, they are also very intelligent, loyal, hard working, loving, and true life long friends. ***
